AGENZIA ONU – Kickstarting your career in the UN System: Conversations from the field with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime

Relatori: 

Valentina Pancieri – UNODC Regional Coordinator, Border Management Programme, Regional Officer for Southeast Asia and the Pacific.She will introduce UNODC mandate, different specializations within the agency, competencies and technical skills needed to apply to positions, type of positions available, how to apply to positions and recruiting process to access the UN.

Liam Kirkpatrick – UNODC Regional Programme Officer

He will share his experience as a United Nations Volunteer within the organization and the opportunities that this work experience may lead to, and how to access the position

Suchaya Mokkhasen – UNODC National Programme Officer

She will present on the importance of specialization while moving up the career path, and will share her experience from a recipient of a full bright scholarship, to a career as an investigator and now with the UN.
